The marketing team is seeking an experienced B2B PR & Communication Manager to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable company image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.

Duties include:

  • Assist Head of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager with developing, planning, organising, and overseeing a marketing communications plan, across a wide range of channels
  • Lead the media relations strategy, objectives, KPI, budget and tactics, as part of a wider marketing plan
  • Manage budgets, costs, and ROI for stakeholder engagement
  • We will serve as the company spokesperson to the media, coordinating all public relations activities, manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Required at times to communicate internally to employees or provide communications coaching for employees
  • Direct and create content writing strategy for a diverse range of marketing channels (press releases, blogs, webinars, website material, and blogs) engaging different target audiences
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within energy and recruitment industry media
  • Monitor, analyse, and communicate PR results on a monthly basis to the Head of Marketing
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness (especially to create traction for events & podcasts) 
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding the communication strategy surrounding them.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Proven working experience in B2B industries (ideally 3-4 years)
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Event and/or webinar planning experience
